So if you don’t know already, the Nordstroms sale is unique in that it puts new merchandise  coming out for fall on sale. This is why we can’t stop talking about it! I remember last year in Oct/ Nov I totally regretted buying something like these OTK boots and stocking up on Christmas Presents. My sister did an amazing gift guide here.  Anyways, wanted to stress buy now and you can always return later, free shipping!

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale gifts under $50

Happy Saturday! YAY, we made it through the week! We are coming down to the final two days of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! Sooo you did all that shopping for yourself over the past few weeks, now is time for GIFTS for everyone else! I need to buy for Christmas and birthday early, Kate & I are so bad!! NSALE Under $100 Finds!

Last few days of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! I know you are probably all tired of hearing about it now but it seriously was so good this year.(I think my bank account is pretty tired of it too) whoops! Anyways, it always comes at a good time because the summer goes sooo fast and then the sale just swoops in and makes you kinda excited for fall!

30k YAY!

30K, yay! We are SO excited we hit a major milestone in our brand..30K followers on instagram! WOW! First we want to start off by thanking you all for your constant support and feedback we get from you each and everyday. The support from our friends and family is overwhelming and we are filled with emotions and can’t thank you all enough. We first started our blog and Instagram about a year and a half ago because Grace moved to Florida to be with her husband who is in the Air Force. The three of us + our brother Buddy (biggest supporter) have grown up SO close and all have stayed in Massachusetts. We knew we wanted to start something together and to keep in contact daily about our fashion finds…that’s where we can up with Pines & Palms 3..sharing our fashion finds from the Northern Pines (Kate & Anne) to the Southern palms (Grace).

We only hope you all know how much we appreciate you and truly value your comments, likes and tags. YOU inspire us!

Some things you may not know…

  1. All three of us played D1 sports in college- Grace field hockey, Anne&Kate Lacrosse
  2. There is 8 year difference between Grace & the twins (Kate&Anne)
  3. Kate’s the older identical twin by two minutes
  4. Every year since we were babies our parents would take us to Disney (they still do) haha!!
  5. Every day starts with Coffee & ends with ice cream
  6. All three of us have full-time jobs
  7. Sometimes we are up till 1 a.m. finishing blog posts
  8. We are Armenian, Irish & German
  9. K &A’s boyfriends & Grace’s husband are the same age!
  10. Our brother Buddy played for the New England Patriots!
  11. Grace doesn’t like TV; Kate & Anne are the opposite & watch Friends every night before bed
  12. We panic at night if we don’t hear from each other, especially if you know they were out and about and not home!

Postbaby Weight Loss and New Favorite Leggings

I know we have been sharing a lot of workout wear lately, but with the Nsale going on its so good!

Going on almost 10 weeks post partum, wanted to share a little bit of my weight loss journey. I still have around 5 lbs to go. So writing this will help me stay on track, as I have read what works best. 🙂

  1. I wore this belly bandit everyday and night for about 6 weeks. They say to leave it on as much as you can stand it. I honestly thing it helped!  This one is part of the nordstroms sale going on right now. Also this set here.
  2. Drink water… Its so tough for me to constantly drink water because I have never really liked it. I always have to add fruit. I also order coconut water
  3. Walk everywhere. This is a challenge for me, working full time from home in the heat of the summer. When Mason was first born, it wasn’t too hot yet and we were able to take some long walks, but now I try to get out and walk on the treadmill most nights. We can’t wait to go jogging with this Bob Stroller.
  4. Small meals… Keeps me energized all day. Typically I ll have oatmeal or yogurt for breakfast, a english muffin with PB and fruit for lunch and salad and some protein and grains for dinner. For snacks, I love apples and PB, cheese sticks, avocado and toast and bananas.  I love walmart grocery pick up because I can order from my couch and don’t have to take Mason inside. Having healthy foods around instead of nothing helps!
  5. New work out clothes… Always make me feel better. Especially these high waisted leggings (below) I also own the black pair and actually wear them mostly with sweaters and booties
  6. Give it time… at least this is what my mom tells me
  7. Sleep… still working on this one, but if you can nap when the baby does it helps.
  8. Get a partner. Sometimes my husband will do Kayla BBG with me if Mason is sleeping. It helps to have someone to push you, or in my case so I don’t cheat.
  9. Breastfeeding
  10. I turned to pinterest for some at home workout ideas. To break up the day someones I ll try to do 15 pushups, 25 crunches and 25 squats a few times. I also have these adjustable dumbbells that I can just grab and do lunges or arm exercises whenever.
